Filed under: Celebrity GossipRadio 1 DJ Pete Tong has been granted a restraining order against Massive Attack singer Shara Nelson after she harrassed him and claimed to be his wife.
The 46-year-old, who sang on the band's classic Unfinished Sympathy, also falsely claimed to have had a child with Tongy, said she was his manager and harrassed him with nusiance calls, West London magistrates were told.
Her activities had caused Tongy "distress and embarrassment", the court heard.
The court granted the 51-year-old Essential Mix DJ a restraining order preventing Shara - who had given her name to the court as Tong - from contacting him indefinitely.
Magistrates also gave her a 12-month community order and ordered her to complete 80 hours' community service.
