U2 frontman Bono was reportedly rushed to hospital last week suffering from severe chest pains.According to the NME, the Irish rocker was holidaying in the South of France when he experienced heart palpitations and was later checked into the Princess Grace Memorial Hospital in Monaco.
The publication reported that Bono was seen by a top heart specialist and advised to rest but was not kept in overnight.
However, his friend Julian Lennon later tweeted to deny the claims, saying the U2 star had merely gone in for a check-up.
Last year U2 were forced to cancel a headline spot at Glastonbury as the singer underwent emergency back surgery.
And the band only completed their mammoth '360' world tour last week after two years on the road.
So heart scare or not, perhaps it really is time to take it easy.
