TOWIE's Mark and Lauren split

They got engaged in front of the TV cameras and have been busy preparing for the reality show wedding of the year... but TOWIE couple Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger have reportedly split.

Just five months after Mark's onscreen proposal, the Essex boy has apparently booted his fiancée out and headed off for a lads' holiday in Marbs.

Wright's spokesperson told The Sun: "He has no comment, except to confirm that it is over."

Mark and Lauren have already had a rocky fauxmance romance and Wright has repeatedly been the subject of cheating rumours, so the split is hardly surprising.

However, Lauren was still wearing her engagement ring when she tweeted a picture on Friday and Mark said he was "missing" his on-off sweetheart as recently as Tuesday.
Hmm... should make for boosted ratings interesting viewing when series three hits TV screens in September.
