Ashley Cole has reportedly put his £3.5 million Surrey house on the market after a failed bid to win Cheryl back.According to The People, the Chelsea star has finally accepted that the big reunion isn't going to happen and is keen to start anew.
A source told the paper: "He and Cheryl tried to give it a go but it didn't work.
"Now Ashley wants to completely start again. Staying in that house brings back bad memories. He no longer wants to live there because he needs a clean break."
It seems Ash is planning a permanent move to the States when his Chelsea contract is up in 2013 and is determined to "live a more low-key life".
"He wants to be talked about for his football, not for his private life."
Given his past record, that could prove tricky.
