What's that strange groaning noise? No, it's not office workers suffering from back pain - it's the sound of thousands of women's hearts breaking.And why is there such widespread despair? Because nice guy The Apprentice winner Tom Pellereau has revealed that he is engaged to be wed.
The 32-year-old inventor, who won the BBC reality show last night, popped the question to his girlfriend Sarah Fawcus last month before he knew that he was the winner.
He said: "We are both big geeks and the wedding is going to be incredible fun.
"I am very fortunate that I met Sarah before all of this started. She is an engineer as well so she is very well grounded.
"As soon as I heard I had won I spoke to her - she thinks it is all mad and insane."
Don't get too carried away Tom, after all - how many previous Apprentice winners can you name?
