The Oscar-winning actor was arrested and bailed last week after a drunken row with his wife Alice Kim but US reports now claim his problems didn't end there.
According to TMZ, after the drunken row with Alice, the couple went to collect son Kal-el from a friend's house.
A police report obtained by the US gossip site reads: "At some point, Mr Cage fell while holding their son. The fall caused the five-year-old child to suffer a minor abrasion to his left knee, and she [Alice] then recovered the child."
Though Alice reportedly refused to allow cops to interview Kal-el, a photograph of the injury was taken and a "child abuse detective was notified".
The detective concluded that no further action was required but Child Protection Services may still be contacted.
