Speaking to the News of the World, Katie said: "I fancy Leandro so much more than Alex. He can hardly speak English, so I'm not with him for his mind. He isn't a future husband - like I need another one of those at the minute. I'm just having fun when I'm not with the kids.
"I'm single and I'm allowed. Leandro is like a wonderful breath of fresh air and he's taken my mind off all the s**t with Alex. I want the divorce to be over as soon as possible. This is a new chapter for the Pricey. Bring it on!"
Meanwhile, poor old Alex Reid, who has already reportedly taken the news hard, supposedly told a friend: "Everything in me wants to meet up with Leandro and smack him. But I can't do that because I'm a trained fighter and one punch would kill him. Instead I'd like to go and shake his hand - and ask if he enjoyed f**king my wife.
"I would tell him to enjoy my seconds - and warn him she will chew him up and spit him out like every other man she has brought into her life. She operates a one-in-one-out policy which shows what she said about wanting to be single is total rubbish."
It seems like Alex has finally woken up to what we've been saying for years!

If there's one celeb that you don't really want to get on the wrong side of it's Katie Price.
The woman knows how to bear a grudge, doesn't know when to call it a day - and has a low tolerance threshold for perceived insults.
She's had more beef than McDonalds over the years - and we've selected the prime cuts for your delectation here...
Professionally controversial comedian Frankie Boyle has previously survived making jokes about the Queen's ladygarden, but now appears to have met his match in Katie Price.
They say there's no such thing as bad publicity, but Frankie's gag about her disabled son Harvey (which we won't repeat) really looks like it's backfired on him.
A statement issued by Katie (although probably not written by her) said: "They are saying it is OK to ridicule people - even children - for disability in a way they would not dare over race or sexual orientation.
"The people who control the channel are endorsing this behaviour."
Katie has been part of one of the all-time great celeb feuds with her arch rival Kerry Katona.
Well, we shouldn't really use the past tense because their beef still simmers up to boiling point every so often - usually when one of them has had a bit of bad publicity and the other is quick to stick the boot in.
Kerry is usually the one to resume hostilities, probably because she needs the publicity more, but Katie is never slow to put her in her place.

To see just how good an operator Katie is, you only need to consider that most of the civilised world took Pete's side in the couple's messy and protracted divorce - but that she's still managed to score some points.
Accused of turning her life into a soap opera (which she probably wouldn't deny), she has pledged to kleep her kids off the screen in future - and asked Pete to do the same.
Strangely, her request came just as Pete was launching a new reality show which featured his children - and he said no.

One of Katie's most memorable, and longest-running, feuds is with former Posh Spice Victoria Beckham.
It first kicked off when KP accused VB of ruining her relationship with former boyfriend Dane Bowers - and Vicky reportedly called her "vile".
She was later reported to have upped the meow factor by singing "who let the dogs out" when Jordan (as we then knew her) arrived at a function.
This is one of the few that Katie may have lost, but then you can never count her out entirely.
Back when Jordan and Jodie were rival glamour models/party girls they used to clash regularly - and both of them got something out of it.
For Jodie it was a good way to raise her profile and get her name in the papers. For Katie it gave her the opportunity to look like the dignified and classy one.
We were gratified to see hostilities resume in 2009, when Jodie started trash talking abotu Katie's ability as a horse rider, of all things.
Who coud possibly want to have a pop at the lovely, inoffensive Kelly Brook? Katie Price of course!
La Price opened fire on Kel in an interview in which she was moaning about how designers won't lend her dresses for events (we wonder why).
She said: "I look at people like Kelly Brook and I just can't understand how she gets to wear all these designer clothes. I'm not slating her, but really, what the hell does she actually do?"

Katie has a notoriously short fuse when it comes to people she think is trying to use her name to get publicity for themselves - and that includes Nicola McLean.
The glamour model, who you may remember from I'm A Celeb a few years ago, was accused by KP of "trying to be me".
Nicola tried to give as good as she got, calling Katie "vile", but that kind of insult is water off a duck's back to the artist formerly known as Jordan.
Nicola has since appeared in Pete's reality show, being filmed playing with he and Katie's children - which is claimed to have riled her rival up.
You'd think two high-profile, outspoken celebs like Katie and Chezza would have had an equally high-profile spat at some stage, but their differences have been surprisingly low-key.
There was a bit of tension earlier this year when Cheryl was reported to have pulled out of a TV interview about her relationship breakdown because she thought: "It's tacky, it's got Jordan written all over it."
Katie didn't lower herself to respond at the time, but when Cheryl was in hospital and believed to be suffering from malaria she wasted no time in publicly expressing her desire to fill in as a judge on The X Factor.
That didn't happen of course.
Oh yes, Katie Price is an equal opportunities feud-holder - and she definitely doesn't let anything liek terminal illness get in the way of a bitchy comment.
Katie criticised the way Jade revealed her diagnosis of cervical cancer - taking money from magazines for the story.
But Jade was never one to just roll over and she hit back, pointing out that KP had sold stories abotu her disabled son Harvey.
Jade may have forgiven Katie before her death, but her family didn't and she was barred from attending the funeral.
