It's no secret that Katie Holmes isn't exactly a fan of the paparazzi (well have you ever seen her crack a smile until now?) and judging by these snaps of her with daughter Suri and hubby Tom Cruise leaving a restaurant in NYC - Suri is a chip off the old block.

And doesn't Katie look proud?
Well, what celeb mother wouldn't want their offspring to have mastered the Gallagher Snarl at such an early age?

Seriously, I really wouldn't want to mess with that.

Quite how 5-year-old Suri finds the time to squeeze in anti-pap lessons amongst the etiquette training, how-to-walk-in-heels classes and Scientology homework is anyone's guess but that kind of multi-tasking is going to come in very useful when she's old enough to sign her own autographs.

They really do grow up so fast these days.
