Signing on for quite the exciting venture, Jordin Sparks has been named as the opening act for the upcoming New Kids On the Block/Backstreet Boys tour.
The "American Idol" alum will be entertaining audiences throughout North America when the supergroup trek kicks off next month (May 2011).
The news of Miss Sparks' involvement with the hefty slate of shows was announced on Tuesday (April 5) by Ryan Seacrest.
Concerts will begin at Allstate Arena (Rosemont, IL) on May 25th with the much-awaited tour set to close out on August 5th at Bell Centre (Montr�al, QC).
