Not the best of Friends?

Just as their TV comedy alter-egos supported each other through thick and thin, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have been pals through weddings, break-ups and childbirth.

But there are rumoured to be tensions between the former Friends stars.
According to US Weekly, Jen has been casting a disapproving eye over Courteney's love life. The latter has been spending rather a lot of time with her Cougar Town co-stars, Brian van Holt and Josh Hopkins... and not just on set.

In fact, Cox's beach getaway with van Holt made the papers back in March and words like "frolicking" have featured heavily in relation to her on-set antics with Hopkins but she insists they're just good friends.

But despite separating last year, Courteney is still married to David Arquette and Jen is rumoured to be disappointed by her pal's flirtatious behaviour.

A source told the publication: "Jen thinks Courteney is acting callous by running around with this guy but refusing to file divorce papers. Like she's playing mind games with David."

Bearing in mind David's post-separation behaviour, we can't say we blame her.

Whether Courteney and David will resolve their marriage issues remains to be seen but we can't blame them for wanting to avoid an acrimonious divorce...
