Shadow by Michael Morpurgo - review

'This is a very moving story, and easy to read. There is a huge surprise at the end. I want you all to sniff it out'

This book is very touching and inspiring. This story tells us about how Aman and his mother survived during the war time in Afghanistan.

Aman's granny died because people were beating them up but somehow Aman and his mother escaped and made their way to Manchester where Aman's uncle, Mir, was with his wife Mina. But not without the help of their friend, Shadow - a sniffer dog spaniel.

This is a very moving story, and easy to read. I finished the 280 pages in less than a day. There is a huge surprise at the end. I want you all to sniff it out. I'd like to recommend it to all those who are reading this review.
